Because he will never write this himself I felt the need to inform you all that Matt aka Jason Barrett has been nominated for a Star of Life at AMR. Just to give a little background out of a company of thousands of EMT, Paramedics, Nurses, and other medical staff they nominate only 32 for this award. The award signifies a person's commitment to providing excellent patient care, customer service, and commitment to bettering the communities that they serve. Matt's dedication to his profession, is one that inspires those around him. His commitment to bettering the community by working with the less fortunate kids of our society, is something that should inspire us all to do more.

I totally drove past Union like two days ago in my ambulance...lol. I am based out of Omaha but we also have operations in Lincoln...now thats a small world.

Fire and EMS go past on 48th street quite often. My dorm window faces the street so I often see them driving past.
