John M. Ford, the author of the book which the actual mission is based on, passed away early this week. The ones that read the book know when I say we lost a great Star Trek writer.

Who hasn't read the book yet, I really recommend it. You'll have fun.

He'll be missed.

May he rest in peace.

The book is titled How Much for Just the Planet and I believe is currently in print. He also wrote The Final Reflection in the Star Trek arena.
