<Bridge, Day 20, 2015>

Cheetara had just taken her station to relieve others to have some extra time while there was really nothing to do on the ship but monitor the space.

"Go take some time to yourself" Cheetara ordered the young man at tactical.

She stood there just tapping buttons and randomly pulling up different menus to try and kill time. She knew it was time for her regenerating yet, and there wasn't really anything that she wished to be doing. After a few moments of just browsing through different things her console began to beep.

"Captain, a Klingon ship is decloaking off the starboard bow, Vor'cha Class." Cheetara reported. "They are powering up weapons."

Cheetara immediately went to red alert before even giving the Captain a chance to speak. Within seconds of the Klaxons going off, they were fired upon with multiple blasts. Cheetara immediately returned fire with a multiple blast of phaser from the forward arrays as well as a couple photon torpedoes aimed at the Klingon's targeting systems.

Another volley came across the port side as they began to move around the Klingon ship trying to get different angels. Cheetara contined hey volleys of phaser and photon torpedo blasts as the Captain yelled out orders.

OFF: Tag ALL! let's have some fun before the meeting. HAHAHAHAHA

<En Route to Bridge,Day 20,2015 Hours>

T'serra happened to be on her way to the bridge, and strangely before the red aleart klaxons even went off T'serra broke out into a run for the bridge turbolift. Another strange premonition of things about to happen, yet one worth inquiring about later right now T'serra had better things to do then dwell on that and it was convenient that she was already heading towards the bridge at the time. Coinencidence? Maybe.

<Bridge, Day 20,2020>

T'serra arrived on the bridge just in time for another volley from the attacking Vor'cha to strike against the sheilds, shaking the ship from that impact. Luckly T'serra had already braced herself against something.

She shot a glance over to Cheetara and mentaly inquired as to what exactly was going on other then the obvious before she took her seat on the bridge. Apparently things were going to be much more exciting then they were before.

Getting that phaser looked at would have to wait but not wanting to loose it incase her quarters were opened to space T'serra took it with her to the bridge and kept in a holster which didn't appear to be anything more then a small tricorder case but the purpose was to protect it until she could have it looked at. Though the phaser can be fired as is, its still a prototype version of what might just be a new model of phaser. Only time would tell if it became that, just like time seems to influence everything she ever set her eyes apon.

In this instance T'serra seemed almost distracted, and unware of anything other then the shaking of the ship and a voice in her head.

The team led by Mason stormed and raced down the corridor, continued weapons fire was soon meeting just within inches of their scalps. One of the security officers saw Darkhelm and Grayson being pinned down by weapons fire.

?Sir, over there.?

Mason at the risk of getting a new hair cut so to speak looked around the crate to see if Darkhelm and her team were all right. Darkhelm saw him nodded briefly.

=/\=Having fun over their=/\=

<Tag Darkhelm>

?Hold on let?s see if we can let if we can?t give our guests here a new motivation in retreating.? Said Mason tapping his comm badge and rolling over to crate that happened to have some photon grenades.

Putting down his rifle, Mason grabbed three grenades throwing each in different directions. Everyone covered their ears as the loud sonic booms leveled and put a quick end to the weapons fire.

<Tag Darkhelm>

?Darkhelm you lead the way, lets find Trelin. Once we do, we need to set up a remote comm link to the ship we are way over due for a check in. You two keep up the rear watch our backs. Don?t let anyone past this point.? Ordered Hunt moving away with Darkhelm.

It seemed that the tunnel was getting denser and damp, Mason for one was glad when they would return to the ship so he could immerse himself in a sonic shower.

Lights along the inner wall were growing dim; everyone turned on their wristband lights and proceed forward. Darkhelm?s tricorder began to bleep aloud at her.

OFF: Tag Darkhelm and Team.

<<Isabel's quarters, 0712, Day 22>>

It had been an exhausting few days. Actually the whole mission had been tiring, to be more exact. The journey to Celtron V had been long and full of difficulties, and things had not improved upon their arrival. Granted, the situation wasn't exactly ideal to be going into in the first place, but still.

Her crew had performed admirably, which was no surprise. The numerous crew transfers had shaken things up a bit, but the new crewmembers had fit in nicely and contributed well. It was nice to know she had such a capable crew.

After walking aimlessly around her quarters, Isabel finally took a seat, looking out at the stars and Celtron V below them. Some would find the silence disconcerting, but in this case it was comforting to her. Her mind drifted back to the last few days..

The away team's mission had been a success. They'd worked hard and finally reached their goal; recovering Trelin safely. He'd been well guarded, but the Malinche officers proved too much for them. Ensign Mavose and Lieutenant Abubakar had made it safely off the planet. Probably it was more amazing that they survived each other on the way... After finding the nerve center of the complex, the away team had disabled the field being generated and were able to transport out.

The meeting the next morning had started off well enough. Although the To'Ma were a little more quick to anger, both sides were more or less able to discuss things in a rational manner. With the help of the Malinche crew, an agreement was reached after nearly 7 hours of discussions. The So'Kra were satisfied that no harm would come from ships entering or leaving the wormhole, and the To'Ma accepted the So'Kra terms that use of the wormhole would be limited.

Things were certainly looking up until the end of the meeting. At that time, the Klingon vessels in the area decided to attack. Luckily the USS Colt was still in the vicinty and provided support as well. Both StarFleet vessels suffered some damage, but nothing too major. The Klingon ships were destroyed.

Now the question was what the Malinche's next mission would be. Before she could think about it too much, Isabel was brought back to the present when her doorchime sounded. "Enter."

The doors opened, allowing Ensign Sharon Kai to enter Isabel's quarters. The young officer walked over to her as she stood up. "Good morning, Sharon, what brings you to my quarters?" Isabel smiled.

"I need to talk to you, Captain," Sharon replied, her face set.

Sensing that this was not a simple visit, Isabel sat down and invited Sharon to do the same, "Go on."

Sharon's eyes looked down, then up into Isabel's, "I'll be leaving the Malinche. The USS Colt will take me with them when they leave for Earth tomorrow."

Isabel blinked, surprised. "I must say I'm sorry to see you go; you're a wonderful officer. Might I inquire as to why you're leaving? Are you not happy here on the Malinche?"

Shaking her head, Sharon replied, "No, that's not it. I love it here, but something's telling me it's time to go home."

As she looked up at the captain, Isabel thought she saw a sad determination in the young woman's eyes. Silently Isabel contemplated what to say... "I understand. You'll be missed, Ensign, and we won't forget your time with us. Take care of yourself. Perhaps we'll meet again someday," Isabel smiled a little.

"Perhaps. Thank you Captain." Sharon returned a small smile, then stood and turned to leave.

Isabel slowly stood and watched Ensign Kai leave her quarters. It was always sad to see a wonderful person and officer leave, but Isabel had always believed that everything had a purpose. Sharon had been brought into their lives for a reason, and now she was leaving it for another reason. The purpose may not be clear to them right away, but someday it might come to light.

As for the rest of the Malinche crew, their journey would continue wherever StarFleet sent them. Today they'd head down to Celtron V, then await their next orders.

OFF: Fern, you'll be missed. You were a great person, writer, and friend. Take care, and God Bless.
