<<Sewers, Celtron V, Day 20, 1845>>

They waded toward thier destination. Amanda was a little more then uneasy with the situation; she was confident in P'ayanna's skills but she hadn't taken on this many targets in a long time. She just hoped that she was up to the challenge. As they approached the door, Amanda noticed a two large cylinder generators outside the door...and grimanced.

Whispering to to her apparent captor. "Cadet, those are energy bandwidith disruptors...our phasers are going to be useless for the next 100 meters or so."

P'ayanna nodded. Amanada could have sworn that she saw the cadet smile in the dim light. They stepped through the porthole door...

The first two went down without a sound. Amanda stepped forward and to the left, taking out another one and then managing to get a fourth down as well before all hell effectively broke loose. Not that Amanda wasn't expecting to she thought she might be able to get one more down before having it explode in thier faces.

Apparently she was wrong. One of the snaggled toothed warriors smiled at her and then began stalking forward.

"You shall make a fine chambermate," he snarled.

Amanda returned the smile before she flicked her wrist and placed a dagger in the Klingon's forehead. Another came at her; there was no way that Amanda could hope to match him muslce for muscle, although she was clearly faster then her attacker.

Dropping down her leg came around, sweeping his legs out from underneath him and smacking him on the ground. Amanda didn't waste any time, leaping at him and planting a booted heel on his neck. Marine instinct took over and she pressed down, snapping the vital air passage way within.

"You will die Federation dog!"

Amanda spun around, ducking away as the Klingon came charging at her. Again her Marine training kicked in, blocking the blows with her forearms. She dropped away again, this time coming up behind her attacker and smacking a two fisted hammer blow on the back of his head. It knocked him off balance.

He quickly got back to his feet and charged her again, Amanda waited until the last second and then did a jump kicked that sent him flying back against the wall, out cold.

Without warning pain exploded from her right upper arm. She spun around, smacking the Klingon in the face with the back of her hand. She found the dagger protruding from her upper arm; the Klingon had been good enough to get around the armor.

"I really hate it when that happens," she muttered, removing the dagger. "I think you forgot something."

The Klingon was barely back to his feet when his own dagger landed neatly between his eyes.

Blood seeped from her wound and she quickly injected herself with a blood clotter and then jumped back in the fray.

First Officer's Log: Supplemental

============================================================================================================

We have been on the surface for sometime now and the conditions are not what I would call ideal and certainly would not want to spend my vacation here(Smiled) P'ayanna and Darkhelm have been covertly taking out our klingons friends out there with detail and precision. To be honest their courage and stamina goes a long way to encouragement and initative. It is therefore noted in this officer's log.

I wonder how the talks are going with the Captain and the So'Ma. She is a accomplished mediator but i know she will keep everything in check. If we make it out of here I would like to put in commendations for each member of this team.

End Log

He didn't know about everyone else but Mason for one had the shock beat right out of him when he saw Darkhelm perform like she did. In a way he thought his fighting proless was good but in a humorous side view he thought perhaps he would go back to the gym when they beamed up to the Malinche.

The tension among the among the group was at a high but remained calmed and focused. Darkhelm returned next to Hunt who was deep in hot smoke hiding.

"Remind me never to get on your bad side."

Some in the team laughed and smiled sliently, P'ayanna move in closer to everyone before they were to enter.

"Sir, I'm getting a tight beam report for Commander Hunt," Kai responded, looking up from her station. "Looks as though they have encountered some resistence on the planet, Hunt tells me that Darkhelm seems to have the situation under control."

Jason smiled. Leave it to Amanda to do the butt kicking while still staying cool, calm and collected. It was one thing that Jason had always liked about her; the ability to stay completely calm under fire.

"Thats good news...I guess," Kersare responded. "Tell Commander Hunt to proceed as discussed."

"Understood."

"Mr. Barrett, anything new on the sensors?"

"Nothing sir, still detecting those thermal distorations though."

"Just keep our eyes open Jason."

"Will do sir."

ON: Mission Day 20; Planet Surface/Shuttle; 1812 hours

Petra was, to say the least, still very shooken up from the rough landing. With everything considered and the situation at hand, she thought she did a damn good job with the navigation of the shuttle.

The Arabian Monkey wrote:
He was almost certain that they wouldn't get any conclusive scans of the complex from here, they needed to use passive sensors so they weren't detected. And there just wasn't enough power to feed them into anything like a full sweep. He shook his head, "anything?" he called to the cockpit.

Hearing Abu call to her, it took her a few moments to regain her bearings. "The readings I'm getting aren't very helpful. However, if I was allowed to boost the power of these scans, I should be able to get much better readings."

"No!" Abu nearly shouted at her. "If you do that, our scans will surely be detected, and quite frankly, I'd prefer not to be detected at this point in time."

"But..."

"No buts!"

"Fine." Petra tried to make heads and tails of the reading she was getting. If only they had landed closer to the complex... "I'm not getting sufficient readings for the mission." She finished.

OFF: Tag to Mr. Abu

<<Planet Surface, 1900, day 20>>

The away team entered the facility with ease, thanks to Darkhelm and P'ayanna. Mark was impressed by the doctor, although, he knew she was an ex-marine. What he didn't expected was her ability to kill so coldblooded. "I wonder how a doctor can kill and then go treat people afterwards. Must be very conflicting", he thought as he covered the Away Team rear.

As the walked through the corridors, P'ayanna kept herself at front, with her Knife ready for dissect any enemy that would cross them. Mark found that very logic. Phaser fire would be detect almost immediately.

Hunt was close behind P'ayanna, with a tricoder ready, scanning for bio-signs. Luckily for them, There was few celtronians in the facility. Hunt had locked down Trelin (NPC) position, deep in the facility, under heavy guard and with transporter dampeners all over it. "Amazing how Klingons can be very canny", thought him, "Usually they are the first to charge and kill. They're the fast and furious of all battles".

Mark focused his attention to a sound coming from the corrider they had just passed. Sounded like steps. One... No, two pairs of feet coming in their direction. If they turned in the same corridor as the away team, things would become messy.

"We have company!", hissed Mark."Two enemies, I'm certain".

P'ayanna moved with grace and ease, approaching Mark.

"We must kill them before they give the alarm", said she.

"I agree".

"I'll draw their attention and you kill them. They most likely are going to strange my presence but, they will not think for a second or two about of intruders. That's your time", P'yanna said, putting her knife back on the scabbard.

Mark nodded. He looked at Darkhelm. "Doctor, let's do it".

"I'm ready", was the promptly response from the woman.

"Alright, move it", said Hunt from behind them, holding his rifle. If something went wrong he would start shooting, which made sense, considering that facing a Klingon wasn't always a sucess.

P'ayanna appeared on the Corridor and faced two Klingons that we unaware of her presence until very close. They looked at her and barked some klingon words Mark couldn't understand. She replied and approached them.

As she approached them, she made a small move with her fingers, signalling a go ahead. Mark and Darkhelm left the other corridor and dashed to the Klingons.

Both Klingons started to bring their disruptors up, but P'ayanna didn't let them. She slugged one Klingon hard, throwing him on the floor. Darkhelm reached the second Klingon, grabbing his hand and give him a judo move that throwed him on the floor too.

Mark jumped on the Klingon P'ayanna had take down. He landed at the Klingon hard, and with his knife at hand he stabbed the Klingon right in the neck. The blood spilled right on Mark's face.

The other Klingon received a kick on the face that probably cracked his skull. P'ayanna looked satisfied when she performed that kick.

In thirty seconds, both enemies were down and very quietly. Mark got up and cleaned his knife on the dead enemy cloth. He felt the Klingon's blood on his face and tried not to look very disgusted. He used his uniform sleeves to clean his face.

Hunt appeared and looked at the result. "Very quietly, but not very clean", said him looking at the blood that still poured from the dead enemy's neck.

"It was not clean, sir, but very necessary", Mark turned to Darkhelm. "Are you alright, Doctor?"

"I'm unharmed", was the brief reply.

Mark didn't bother to ask P'ayanna. She looked alright and almost... Happy with the battle result. "How very Klingon of her", though him, grimly.

"Ok, let's move these bodies of out sight", ordered Hunt. "And Lieutenant", said him to Mark, "Clean your mess".

Mark nodded and started to clean the blood that had spilled all over the place. "Nasty work, but someone has to do it", concluded him, dryly.

Hunt nodded and moved away, to the other corridor. P'ayanna found a hollow panel in the corridor that would fit both dead enemies. Mark considered the place appropriated.

After four minutes, they were moving again, back on the right direction. Mark realized that he had killed someone after a good awhile. He didn't regret the killing, but, he wondered how many he would have to kill until the mission was over.

OFF: tag away team.

Two headed back to her quarters (well, shared quarters) to rest for an hour or two. She was unusually tired. She couldnt' remember the last time she had been feeling like this. Had she caught a bug or something?

Wait a minute, she thought to herself. What does a bug have to do with being sick? She shook her head, trying to clear her mind. She had work to do, and lots of it. She didn't want to be a weak person; but that was what she felt.

She stopped by the mess hall and got a glass of OJ. She drank it, feeling really hot. Like her internal temperature was much higher than the usual 98.6F. She asked for a second one, holding the line up. She heard a lot of mumbling behind her but she dared them to say anything to her.

Finally, she wasn't feeling so shaky. She had to head home for that nap. It took her a little bit longer than usual, but no sooner than she had set a foot inside their quarters, she felt the need to head to the bathroom to loose the OJ she had just drank.

It was really not a good day for her. Not to mention, she was not going to call anyone from Sickbay to tell them that she really needed a doctor. Most of the doctors on a starship had very little dealings with an exBorg. She would be better in an hour or so.

She climbed into her regeneration chamber. She needed to install something to put some white noise in the background. Maybe that would help her sleep better and loose some of the homesickness she had been feeling lately.

<<Planet Surface, 1900, Day 20>>

With P'ayanna (NPC) and Darkhelm in the lead they away team once agian got back to the business of finding thier captor. They were making good progress, managing to avoid a good deal of the patrols...and thus far they hadn't managed to set off any alarms....Amanda just hoped that there luck would hold.

They came to a T junction, Grayson indicating one with this tricorder...at the same moment as several Klingon troops came around the corner. To their credit they almost got a shot off before Grayson and P'ayanna dropped them both. The remaining ones in the group fell back, loosening a barrage of disruptor fire at them.

"Well this will complicate things!" Amanda shouted, dropping to one knee and returning fire. Sparks bounced off the walls all around them.

"No doubt more will be on the way quickly, we must act soon!" P'ayanna snapped.

"Anybody have any suggestions?" Amanda asked. This time her shot dropped a Klingon to the deck with a smoking hole in his uniform.

"We can't stay here forever, we're going to get pinned down."

"If I may make suggestion sir," Amanda snapped.

"Go ahead," Hunt responded, firing hsi rifle again.

"Grayson and me can go in search of our hostage, you take the away team and circle back, try and draw there fire."

"Good plan," Hunt looked at Grayson as the barrage picked up again. "You heard the women, move!"

Darkhelm and Grayson both fired off a few more shots and then took off down the corridor.

<<Planet Surface, 1910, Day 20>>

Mason took the rest of the team hustling around back drawing all the heavy incoming fire. It was easy power packs were running low and time was running out.

?Teplar (NPC) and Thompson (NPC) spread out cover me.? Ordered Mason.

The XO whipped out a few photon grenades throwing them a meter in front of the incoming fire. Everyone saw that they had little effect the phaser fire continued even more so.

Then it occurred to Mason?

?How many power packs do you both have??

?Two sir.?

?Alright, listen up we need to even up the odds here. On my command set up a cross fire when I give the word move in.?

Both nodded and waited for Mason?s signal while still firing. Hunt grabbed his tri-corder and hooked it up to his phaser rifle. By doing this, he was hopeful that the overload would create a vibration shock strong enough to take out the majority of them buying P?ayanna and Grayson more time.

Once he was finished, he leaped over a large rock to take cover. Breathing heavy he raised one hand tapping his comm badge twice. The plan had worked the shock was so strong that it took down nearly half.

?Move In.?

ON: <<USS Malinche>>
<Bridge, Day 20, 1915>

Cheetara had finished her preparations for when the captain went to the surface. She made a program to reroute security and tactical controls in case anything should happen that would require her to take control while in the command chair. While doing all of that, she began thinking of Harrison. She would need to be informed of what exactly will be going on with this away mission and while the captain is gone. Cheetara noticed that she wasn't too attentive at the meeting, as if she had other things on her mind. Just then she was interrupted by one of the medical officers in sickbay.

"Ensign Townsen to Lt. Thundera, come in please", came the voice.

"Cheetara here, go ahead ensign".

"Would you mind coming down to sickbay for a minute? I....um...well..."

"Spit it out ensign"

"I need to talk to you for a minute" he finally stated. "It's kinda important".

"Alright, I'm on my way. Cheetara out"

She went ahead and headed down to sickbay wondering what in the world could he possibly need to talk to her about. It's not like she had any kind of health problem going on. Her curiousity ate away at her all the way there.

<Sickbay, 1925>

Cheetara walked in looking around. She didn't notice him anywhere, so she began to call out.

"Ensign Townsen, are you here? You wanted to see me?"

"Over here" he replied calling out from behind a biobed on the other side of the room.

Cheetara walked over to where he was kneeling on the ground.

"What are you doing down there?', she asked quizzically.

"I was just picking up this hypospray I just dropped", he replied while standing up and showing it to her.

Cheetara looked at him strangely and watched him like a hawk as her guard went up immediately.

"So what is it you want to talk to me about?" she asked trying to get right to the point and not waste her time.

He set down the hypospray and walked over one of the medical screens. He tapped a few buttons which brought up Rebekah Harrison's last medical visit records.

"This" he replied as he turned around. "The Chief wanted to talk to you about it, but didn't get the chance with everything going on. So I'm taking the liberty of doing it while she's away."

Cheetara's eyebrows began to shift closer inward as she listened to what the ensign called her there for.

"You called me here for this?" she asked pausing for a brief moment. "Why are you wasting my time? If it was THAT important, Darkhelm would have made the time, or found the time to talk to me about it."

"But....but....it's..." he tried to reply but got cut off.

"What do these records have anything to do with me? Her medical records affect me in no way shape or form. My job is to provide this ship's security and defend it. If she's having medical trouble or it is felt that she is not fit for duty, then that should be taken up with the Captain, not me."

She began to turn and walk away feeling that there would be nothing that she could medically do for Harrison anyway. As she began walking away, Townsen called out to here.

"WAIT!" he yelled "You don't know what the problem is yet."

"WATCH your tone with me ENSIGN!" she replied angrily and authoritively at the Ensign for his ignorance in tone with her.

"I'm sorry Ma'am", he apologized. Please though, just look and listen for a minute"

Cheetara walked back overing deciding to give him just one minute.

"Alright, you got sixty seconds. Go!" she replied.

"Well it goes like this", he began. "We aren't really sure what's wrong with her. She came her with symptoms of exhaustion and headahes. But we can't find no reason for them medically. She's been resting and regenerating, so we aren't sure what is going on."

Cheetara sat there listening. As he talked more and more, the details got even more interesting. Cheetara could understand why medically things couldn't be found out. Afterall, Harrison does still have machinery and implant in her body. Cheetara had begun thinking of some things that it could be.

"Seeing as how you were once Borg as well, we had been thinking that maybe you would have an idea of what's wrong." he stopped and waited for a reaction

"Do you think that just because I used to be Borg that I'm gonna know what she is going through as of this moment?" she asked.

"No Ma'am, I didn't mean it like that. I meant that maybe you might know because you've been where she's been before, still new out of the collective. We didn't know if maybe it was something that was going on because of no longer being a joined unit."

Cheetara stood there looking at the young ensign. She noticed that he actually had a brain in his body that he knew how to use. She thought that if he kept learning, he'll eventually be a CMO himself.

"I tell you what Ensign. I'll try to talk to her and see what she will tell me. If it's something that you and the medical staff can help with, I'll let Darkhelm know when she gets back. If it's not, we'll just leave it at that."

Townsen seemed to grow a little frustrated with that answer. He knew that he technically couldn't MAKE her do anything since she holds the higher rank, but atleast he was able to appeal to her Human side and compassion.

Cheetara turned and went to walk out. "Good day Ensign. Computer, locate Ensign Rebekah Harrison."

"Ensign Harrison is in her quarters", came the soft reply for the somputer.

<Harrison's Quarter's, 1940>

Cheetara had let herself in when not getting an answer from her chime. She walked around looking for where Harrision was. Then she noticed her in her chamber. Cheetara remembered the days that she used to have to recharge in a large chamber like that. She began to think that she should help Harrison not have to use that huge thing. But first, she would need her own private quarters. Cheetara decided to sit down and wait for her to finish since she noticed that there wasn't much time left before the alarm would go off and wake her up from her sleep.

Moments later, the alarm went off and Harrison work up. Cheetara watched as Harrison stepped out of the chamber still a little disoriented.

"Hello Harrison" Cheetara replied seeming to startle her. "I was wondering if there was anything you'd like to talk about while we have some free time. It seems that one of the Medical Officers is worried about you and your condition. Whatever that may be."

<<So'Kra Council, Celtron V, 1915, The Longest Day in Existance>>

Adam Townsen had returned to the Malinche not long before, but his team were still overseeing the ongoing treatment of the wounded. Townsen had shown an inkling of surprise to be introduced to a Cardassian when he asked for the diplomat in charge of the operation, but if he had a problem with Orsad or his team he did a remarkable job of not showing it. He and his fellow medics had merely set to work in the triage.

'Fatalities?' Tekel asked instantly as Dors Brek reappeared into the Council Chamber looking drained. It went without saying that the mysterious illness of Council Aid Senswin Allum was on his mind.

Brek shook his head. 'We're lucky so far. The supplies the medics brought are heaven sent.'

'Well they did come from the heavens, didn't they?' Tekel pointed out with a crooked grin, jerking his head upward to indicate the Malinche somewhere in orbit. 'So Kamell and Jaze?'

'Stable. Jaze should even be back on her feet within the hour.'

'What about...' Tekel trailed off uncomfortably.

Venari Zura swiveled around from her station and bluntly supplied, 'Senswin Allum. Starfleet haven't been telling us anything. Will he make it?'

Brek had leant back against the wall and now slid down it until he had settled into a crouching position. 'It's a complete mystery. He's awake now, at least, but he's too weak to say anything, let alone even eat or drink. Starfleet's hooked him up to a nutrient suppliment so he won't waste away.'

'And Townsen and the others have no idea what the problem is?' Tekel asked incredulously.

'They've sent someone back up to the ships to look through the databases, but they're not hopeful. This isn't like anything they've seen before. We can't even tell what stage the disease is in.'

'But maybe once it progresses more they'll have a clue,' Tekel shot back sourly.

'They're quite confident he's not in immediate danger.'

'Argh!' the young Cardassian cried in frustration.

As if to take Tekel's mind off the daunting subject, Zura spoke up to Miltuk. 'Erontab, any word from the ship's infiltration team?'

'None,' the comm officer replied without turning around.

Zura and Miltuk went on to discuss the possibities of the Malinche's current mission, but Tekel had stopped listening. He glanced to Brek, who gave him a brief shrug before rising and making his way back to the triage.

Allum, he thought, had been fine. Shaken, maybe, by the attack, but otherwise fine. He had, despite the shock, had enough of his mind about him to insinuate that the blame for lax security lay at the feet of Tekel and his team. Allum himself hadn't foreseen the attack any more than the rest of them. He had been highly satisfied with the opinion of Garshon Trelin, for whom he was an assistant, that the To'Ma would never be so bold as to fall upon the So'Kra Council.

Sanctimonious little Celtronian. How was it possible for a man Tekel had found so annoying to suddenly envoke his deepest concern? Scrunching his eyes shut, he tried to think back to any time when he might have noticed Allum acting unusually. When might he have contracted this ailment... Oh hell. Could it be contagious?

As Tekel strode to the triage to ask Doctor Keplarish whether they had taken the precaution of quarantining the Celtronin, somehow he hoped the Malinche would contact them soon, for any reason whatsoever. Anything to take his mind off Allum.

OFF: If anyone wants to pick up the Allum plotline, they're welcome to. Away Team, Orsad, Brek and Frober and still on stand by, though I'm guessing at this point you're far enough along that you won't be needing them.

<<Planet Surface, 1915, Day 20>>

Mason stormed forward nearly tripping in mud towards the weapons fire, before either one of the enemy soldiers realized, the XO had clipped them both with phaser rifle forcing them to the ground. For a moment, he smiled wondering how they felt having been dipped into what he and the away team had been enduring for hours.

The other guard managed to silence the others and joined Mason, racing over and out of breath; they smiled and laughed aloud.

?Well, sir it seems you have things well in hand.? Said Rodgers (NPC)

Hunt grabbed one of them by the back and forced him up.

?Take these two and secure them close by and keep out of sight. You three come with me.?

Although Darkhelm and Grayson were already inside, Hunt thought he would keep the entrance open since there was only one-way out. For the first few moments, it was quiet nothing but hot smoke and mist filled the surroundings until Mason heard faint movement coming towards them to the distance.

?Rodgers (NPC), Morris (NPC) and Loren (NPC) take flank positions here and here. Laid down tri-corders in a diamond formation. If these reading are right there are only three of them coming this way.?

The men moved out and did as Mason instructed, as the movement got closer and closer it stopped and headed back into the opposite direction. Now the XO did not hear anyone else in that direction. He heard Rodgers snickering.

?Something you wish to share with us ensign?? asked Mason.

?It occurred to me sir that if I could set up a fake federation signal of let?s say twenty or more troops it would by us and Darkhelm and team sometime. I projected the fake signals five hundred meters away. It will be sometime before they return.?

?Remind me to throw you in the brig after we are done here.?

Everyone including the XO laughed.

<Harrison's Quarters, Day 20, 1942>
Two was surprised to wake up to find Cheetara in her quarters. Sheclimbed out, wondering why she was standing here.

"I have no free time. I need to head back to work. I was not feelingtoo good and came back here to see if I could feel better. Now I haveto get back to work," Two told her.

"Hold up just a minute there Ensign", Cheetara began hating to have topull rank. "Yes, you may have work to do. We all do. But for themoment we have a few extra minutes. I'm sure you may not like me, forwhatever reason I have no idea since I have done nothing to you. However, you seem to be having some problems going on right now from amedical point of view. I thought that I would come and see if I couldhelp you with anything because the medical staff sure don't know what is wrong, and they worry."

"Why would a medical officer worry about me?" she asked, still trying to understand what was going on inside of the rest of the crews' minds. She understood very few of them. P'ayanna, who was probably the one she best understood, would tell you what she thought about you or something. She didn't go and hide behind something.

"They worry because it's their job to worry. Plus most that get in the medical field care about people. So they also worry because they care for you." Cheetara answered back.

"Why would they care about me?" Two asked. Two did not understand why anyone would worry about her.

"Like I said. I am here to see if there's anything I can do to help."Cheetara began. "Since they have no clue what is going on with you, they thought that I might. Well I can only spectulate unless you actually talk to me. You must remember that whatever you are going through, I've already done it or been through it. I am the perfect candidate for them to come to when they don't know what's going on. I would like to help you. Think about it this way. If they can't help you, then they go to the Captain saying you may be a security risk. In turn the Captain comes to me and tells me what she wants done about you. So then you have to see and talk to me anyway. The medical team is really trying to cut out all of the unnecessary so not to cause any alarm."

"Besides why do you say I don't like you? I do not have any friends. I do not remember how to make friends. I stay by myself, inspite of having four roommates. We seem to sleep at different times and are rarely spend a lot of time together," Two asked.

Cheetara thought back for a moment to quickly remember why she felt the way she did. "Honestly, I said that because of the way I feel you have acted towards me. The few times that I've been by engineering to help, I've been greated with a cold reception with not even a thankyou. Even now, when I approached you just moments ago, you were ready to leave immediately. I thought that maybe that we would be a little closer seeing how we are the true 'oddballs' for the lack of a better word."

She was not sure what would make her a security risk. They were no place close to a Borg cube. There were no real Borgs on the Mali. Just her and Cheetarah. She had known that since she joined the Mali. Someone had pointed it out to her.

"I have been a borg since I was 8 years old. At 20, I was taken out of the collective. Since I was free, I was given a few choices about what I wanted to do as a free woman. I don't remember anything that happened to me before I was 8. I do not remember my family. I was told I was part of one. Imagine how I spent those 12 years. Then I was free
again, trying to fit into this life that I didn't remember. I just choose to spend my free time either working or alone. What is wrong with that?" Two asked the security chief.

"I know what it's like Rebekah", Cheetara replied extending her hand and placing on Harrison's shoulder. "If you want help in remembering how to be human, I would be the perfect choice to help you. Just take a look at my personnel file. You'll see alot of changes I have made since I first started here in Starfleet. How I went from the way you are right now, to the person I am today. Granted I'm not 'perfect', but noone truly is or will be. Not even the Borg are perfect. After all, take a look at me. Because of them I have this nanode permanently implanted over my eye. Although it has it's advantages at times. Just think about what I have told you here. I need to get back to the bridge. Please feel free to stop by and see me anytime you wish to talk about anything."

Cheetara turned around and began to walk away and out the door. Just a few steps away Cheetara turned back around.

"One more thing", Cheetara said turning around to face her again. "If you truly wish to find the human side of you, get rid of your designation name that everyone calls you. Your name is not 'Two'. It is Rebekah Harrison. Remember that!"

Cheetara then turned around once more and walked out the door.

ON

<Immediately after Cheetara's post>

Two sat on the couch in the room. She had to move past being called Two. But that was her name for so long. She only went by Two of Nine, not the entire designation. No one on the Mali could remember the Designation. Well, maybe Cheetara, but she had been a Borg at one point of time.

People were worried about her? She was not friendly enough? Saying "thank you" is that important to the rest of the crew?

She thought about it for a while. Was she honestly that standoffish? She ate alone. She was in her quarters, even thought she was one of four roommates, alone? They did things without her, but they generally were never in the quarters at the same time.

Why did they bother with her? She liked her life. She just really wanted to be alone most of the time. SHe was not used all of the quiet all of the time. She wanted some noise, even if it was background noise.

Maybe Cheetara was right? She needed to be more outgoing with the crew, not totally standoffish. But how did she do that?

The air was becoming more dense and foggy, Mason and team stood in watch awaiting word from Darkhelm and the others. At the risk of being discovered he tapped his comm badge.

=/\=Hunt To Darkhelm, what's your status?=/\=

"We're about ten meters down the corridor no sign of Trelin as of yet."

"Be careful they have may have picked up our comm signal so move fast. We have less than half an hour to get back to the rendvous point." said Mason.

"Acknowledged, Darkhelm out."

Water on the ground became more light and thin which told Darkhelm that they must be getting close, her tricorder wasn't showing any other tunnels nor any other passageway near by. Soon they were stopped by a door that had a strange device attached to its side. She veered at it and tried touching it but a static shock flew right into her body.

"Somebody doesn't want us tampering with this. Can you tell if Trelin is behind this door Grayson?"

<Tag Grayson>

"See if you can modulate your tricorder to find the right phaser setting to disable it."

It took Grayson a few moments to configure the unit, it ran threw a number of sequences before chirping aloud.

<Tag Grayson>

"Great, take it out." said Darkhelm.

The unit disabled the protected panel, Darkhelm gave it one more try. Lights above them turned green opening the door. Some how she expected the way ahead to be dark and gloomy but instead was full of light and clarity. Both she and Grayson moved inward, her tricorder chirped.

"Detecting one life form very faint about fifty meters up this corridor and to the right." said Darkhelm.

Out of nowhere troops began to fire at Darkhelm and Grayson, both took cover behind some bulkheads and started shooting back. The noises were so loud and focused that even Mason could hear them.

"They must be in trouble, alright you three with me set up warning traces in the groves here and here and set up force fields to guard the entrance we shouldn't have any problems returning with the others."

Rodgers and Loren (NPCS) carried out the orders with precison and ran with Mason down the corridor. Some of the weapons fire darted and hit some of the celing above them shattering some of it to fall on their heads. Hunt and team moved up closer and saw what was going.

=/\=Darkhelm this is Hunt, continue firing give us some room to get in there=/\=

Both Grayson and Darkhelm whipped out there hand phasers and began shooting along with their phaser rifles. Hunt signaled with two fingers for his team to move in with direct phaser fire that bounced him the side walls and took out the troops. Except two of them managed to get up to their feet, Darkhelm started to creep up to them but Mason used his rifle and some fancy foot work knocking both of them to the ground.

"Thanks I owe you one." said Darkhelm.

"Don't mention it, now we have Trelin to save lets go." said Mason.

OFF: Wow things sure have slowed down lately, but no matter here is a post which has been long overdue.

ON:

<<Uss Malinche-B>>
<T'serra's quarters, Day 20, 2000 Hours>

Life on board the Malinche was anything but normal or atleast T'serra thought so still this was where she wanted to be, on board a Prometheus Class starship. T'serra had hoped that she would move up the ranks quicker then she is now back when she requested transfer to the Malinche but that apparently wasn't the case. Somedays T'serra wondered if that was because she failed to do some part of her duties. Maybe she needed to interact with the crew much more? T'serra hadn't planned on being an ensign for this long of time.

T'serra could have been a engineer but her wish was to help people and the best way she could see to do that was to become a counselor, though she still had a great ablity to work with electronics hence the part-time hobby she has strewn through out her quarters.

A modified phaser which she still hasn't finished working on was still sitting on a work table, she had even made a new caseing for it and she had made it's beam width adjustable though a side effect of the new case was a much different beam color perhaps it was just the new emitter head? T'serra wondered if a light blue beam made any difference, perhaps she would take it down to engineering and have the engineering chief look it over and perhaps suggest a few things to add onto it.

If anyone asked how she got a hold of the phaser she would simply say it was the one issued to her which it was. In all the new phaser had its upside but there was a small downside to it which was it's recharge rate, it was slower then the standard phaser but it could hold a charge better and it could easily discharge when needed. Maybe it didn't matter how long it too for it to recharge? Maybe it did? More questions to find answers for later.

Right now T'serra was getting ready to head towards the bridge to start her duties there.
