Operative Pheonix

Location: USS Pheonix Dawn, Sleeping Compartment
Time: 2200 Hours, Day 1, Two years prior to join the Malinche crew

She was alone, though this wasn't out of the ordinary for Sara. It was part of the demands her career made on her. Sara couldn't afford to get too close to anyone, no matter how much she might want to. Sometimes she wondered if she had made the right choice those many years ago. Part of her said yes, that was the part of her that she got from her father. The other? Well she pretty much ignored that one.

Still she sometimes wondered what her life would be like if she had made a different choice. Would things had been better for her? Would they have been peaceful and quiet as she lived in ignorance to what was really going on in the world? She would like to think so but no, things would have been nearly the same just with a higher survival rate. Sara was destined to be a spy. It was in her blood just as it was in her father's and his father's.

It didn't take long for the Occular Implants in her eyes to re-activate once the mantainence cycle finished. Sometimes she wondered why she even bothered with them, though when she thought about it maybe she was better off with them, even if they did seem to give her eyes a faint erie glow in the dark.

"Computer notify me when the ship has reached Starbase 261, and turn off the lights." Sara said closing her eyes.

Computer: "Acknowledged"

There was much to do once she reached Starbase 261, but for now she would get some sleep. She would need it.
