Bridge Layouts

Like the Galaxy-class starships, Prometheus-class vessels are designed to separate as a routine measure, creating the need for duplicates of key systems throughout all three hulls including command areas.

To keep in tune with changing technologies, both of the Prometheus-class auxiliary control centers are modular like the primary bridge. The USS Malinche-A currently operates with two identical auxiliary bridge modules. Both the secondary and tertiary bridge modules incorporate many features of earlier bridge design stretching back to the late twenty-third century and most closely resembles that used aboard contemporary Nova-class starships.
